Are you going to make funny pictures in the sand? Charlie has found his old grey squeaking horse. Archie is sitting in the wagon waiting for his horse to be harnessed.
Dr Ryott was here today and Charlie says ‘Dr Y’ott was very saucy to me – he said I was Don Bull’
[There is a picture of a small child in a chair with the caption: ‘This picture is Charlie']
I am your dear little affectionate sister CAROL
I have made ‘Carol’ in Big letters all myself
[possibly his sister Mary Caroline]
