Scope and content
This series comprises:
(1) letters from H.B.W. Churton who was travelling in Europe and the Middle East to Edward Churton and Susanna Churton (1843-50)
(2) letters from Susannna May Inge to her mother Caroline Churton during the family's stay in Bournemouth, during which time she lost her son Edward (aged 1) (1864-65)
(3) letters from his mother to William Inge (1865-74)
(4) letters from W.R. Inge to his parents during his time at Eton, King's College, cambridge, and his early teaching posts (1878-98)
