Expresses her wish for the war to be over and discusses her thoughts about when and how it might end. Hopes that the rest of his time there won’t be too dangerous or difficult. Informs him that Mr Willet and Mr Thompson have now left and asks if he has seen them. Expresses her opinion on the first chapter of his book and gives him constructive criticism. Asks him to send her more chapters to read. Tells him she loves him.
