Expresses her wish to see him and hopes his conditions are not too bad. Asks for his opinions on war and discusses her thoughts on when the right time to attack would be. Asks if he would like a Christmas pudding sent to him. Requests that he tell her the name of his new Major. Marjorie and Mary Anne are coming to stay and brining their own sugar. Informs him they have made £50 from the sale of 80 trees sold by her father. Her father intends to clear the common of trees.
