Expresses her wish for the war to be over and for them to be together at The Holt. Hopes that he will get leave soon and describes the photographs she has of him in frames. Intends to go on holiday by the 26 August. Asks him what he intends to do on leave. Discusses the living arrangements between her father, Marjorie and Mildred after the war. Discusses the cost of the post.
