Item 4 - Stewards Book, 1711-1712

Contains weekly accounts for members of College. 'Stewards Book for 1711-12' is written on the front cover.

Gives a list of members of the College in order of seniority - Master and Fellows, Fellow Commoners, scholars, and sizars.
Next to each name is the amount owed.

At the end of the list of Fellows are totals for:
Cook, Cat, Coal, Butt[ery] and Baker

At the end of the list of names of students are totals for:
Pane, Portus, Incre[ments], Poor, Prom
Coales, Intr, Incre[ments], Poor, Pun[ishments]

At the back of the book is a page giving amounts owed for other items including:
Tables, Rent, Cat[echist], Uten[sils], Scav[enger].

Also extra notes on amounts owed to and by various Fellows.

The original cover has come away from the spine and the pages are in poor condition but legible. New boards have been put around the volume.

At the front of the volume were a loose bundle of audit vouchers from 1757:
No.1 Laundress, No. 2 Chimney Sweeper, No. 3 College Letters etc, No. 4 Bakers Bill, No. 5 Butlers Bill, No. 6 Lamps and Candles, No. 7 Cook.
These have been removed and put with the series of Audit Vouchers.
