Scope and content
The Magdalene College Association was founded in 1923. Its chief object was to form a connecting link between old members of the College. It held biennial dinners in London and gatherings of members in Cambridge. It printed and circulated to members of the Association a list of addresses of all past and present members of the College.
The Master, Dr A.C. Benson, and 84 members of the Association attended the inaugural dinner and first general meeting which was held at the Imperial Restaurant, Regent Street on 10 July 1923.
Old members of the College could join the Association by paying a subscription of one guinea for Life Membership in 1927.
