John Deas Thomson, late Secretary to the Board of Revision [private secretary to Barham as First Lord] to Samuel Lowe: Navy Office, 11 March 1806 (copy). Has received Lowe's letter to Marsden on subject of £1 3s. packing charge for books. Encloses cheque. Books will be immediately packed up and sent by the Cambridge waggon.

Draft letter from Lowe written on reverse. In January 1805 books were sent at the request of the Commissioners. Has had letters from Marsden and Thomson promising return, but no tidings since.
