This was an auction of the following: 'Freehold & Copyhold estates, comprising two dwelling-houses, and valuable pasture ground, in the parish of St Giles in Cambridge, and very superior arable land known as Howe's Closes containing 13 acres, 3 roods, 17 perches lying in Impington. Also 13 acres, 2 roots and 15 perches of excellent freehold corn land lying in Chesterton'.
