This was the first exhibition in the Cripps Gallery. It chronicled the 1921 reconnaissance expedition to Everest through photographs lent by the Royal Geographical Society. George Mallory, an alumni of Magdalene, was part of the expedition.

Fragile Planet - Watercolour Journeys into Wild Places.
This was a major exhibition of the watercolours of artist Tony Foster. The exhibition focused on five landscape areas - Rainforests, Water, Arctic, Deserts, and Cornwall - with accompanying key information about their plight.

From Southwold to Alice Springs: Selected works from the Collection of Robert Cripps.
This exhibition showcased a small snapshot of the paintings, drawings and engravings acquired by Robert Cripps, reflecting both his deep roots in the countryside and coast of East Anglia and his championing of the indigenous art and artists of his adopted Australian home.
