Buttery book recording weekly totals spent by each member of College on sizings (food bought from the buttery in addition to their commons). The volumes list the members of College in order of seniority followed by a total amount spent.
At the bottom of each page are totals for:
pane, potu, incre, poore and prom.
At the back are accounts for 23 March 1704 - 22 September 1710 giving remains in ale and beer and spent in ale and beer.
On the last page is written (reversed) 'The Buttery Book Mr Townsend' and pen trials including the names Chibnal and Cumberland.
