The main works discussed in these letters are: the alterations to Mallory Court and Mallory Cottages, the JCR Reading Room, the Chapel, Old Lodge alterations post Benson, the Library extension (1927) and the Kitchens.
In MCAD/5/RED/1/8-9 there are copies of letters from Talbot Peel (Bursar) to T.C. Wyatt (Steward of Christ's), showing how well Redfern was regarded by the College eg:
"He has been architect to the College for 20 years, and is a most attractive person to deal with, as well as one who merges himself entirely in the building.... You will know that he did the Mallory Court Building for us, working this up from a very odd brewery on the site, but his great forte is altering old buildings." (28 Jan 1936)
See also letters dated: 25 July 1934 and 17 Feb 1936.
