Notebook containing the Chaplain's notes for services giving the date of the service and the hymns, lessons and psalms for each.

At the back of the book, written in pencil in another hand, probably Mr Dixon's, are various other notes:

(1) the transcript of a letter from the archdeacon Edward Prest who had taken a Clerical meeting as the writer of the notes was ill. The letter is addressed to Mr Dixon and is dated 8 December 1865. It is signed Edward Prest.

(2) a list of 'Inhibited Clergymen in the Diocese', July 1864

(3) a list of churches he has visited between 1863 and 1865

(4) Abstract of his Commission from the Bishop of Durham as Rural Dean, July 1863.

(5) notes on Church Diocesan meetings, 1863-1865
