'W. Smith June 24th 1803' and 'W. Smith 1805' is written on the first page.
Buttery book recording weekly totals spent by each member of College on sizings (food bought from the buttery in addition to their commons). The volumes list the members of College in order of seniority followed by a total amount spent.
At the bottom of each page are totals for:
pane, potu, poore and prom.
There is a separate entry for gates fines.
There further entries which are frequently included - workmen, Whit Sunday beer and bread, poundage on beer, Butler's beer, Cook's beer, and tenants.
