Buttery book recording weekly totals spent by each member of College on sizings (food bought from the buttery in addition to their commons). The volumes list the members of College in order of seniority followed by a total amount spent.

At the bottom of each page are totals for:
pane, potu, incre, poore and prom.

There is a separate entry for gates fines.

On some pages there are separate entries at the bottom of the page for workmen, tenants, and brewer.

At the back of the volume are written the following:

      Edward Mills doesn't write his name in the volume but the handwriting is the same as the previous volumes up until 1799. On 7 March 1799 there was a meting of the Master and Fellows at which it was recorded that the late Butler Edward Mills had been found to have defrauded the College of a considerable amount.
